BRA Notice to Customers

Being mindful of the current pandemic situation and in an effort to limit the spread of the coronavirus (COVID-19), the Barbados Revenue Authority is advising the public that only payments, licensing transactions and appointments will be done in its offices. This comes as part of the Authority’s implementation of physical distancing measures to maintain a safe and healthy working environment.

 

Customers are therefore asked to use the other service delivery options available for engaging with the Authority. Persons are directed to use the customer service contact line at 535-8239, 535-8200 (PBX) or submit requests via email to bramail@bra.gov.bb, for assistance with general queries, registrations, tax filing, tax clearance certificates and land valuation services. Queries specifically related to payments should be directed to 467-1100, 467-1114, 467-1115.

 

The Authority also advises that drop boxes are available at its locations for making payments by cheque. Payments using this method must be placed in a sealed envelope and must be accompanied by supporting documents or a note detailing the specifics of the payment. Additionally, Land Tax payments can be made online using EzPay+, Cave Shepherd Mobile App, SurePay Online and through online banking.
