BRA: Phased Re-Opening Services Reminder

In an effort to keep in-office traffic to a minimum, the Barbados Revenue Authority is asking the public to note that in addition to payments, there are limited services in operation for which taxpayers would be required to visit the Authority’s locations.

These services include:

  1. The completion and submission of property transfer tax forms
  2. The collection of tax clearance certificates– applications should be downloaded from the bra.gov.bb and emailed to bramail@bra.gov.bb
  3. The issuance of Land Tax Clearances, Bill reprints and Bill reissues, as well as
  4. The submission of applications for and collection of Direct Tourism Services and Public Entertainment Licences; 

The Authority’s locations which are open to provide these services are Bridge Street Mall, Bridgetown; Weymouth Corporate Centre, Roebuck Street and Holetown Public Centre.

Taxpayers are also reminded that there are a number of services to which they have access to self-serve online in TAMIS. These include:

  1. Registration for Taxpayer Identification Number (TIN)
  2. Filing tax returns
  3. Password resets
  4. Updating taxpayer details (Bank info, Address, Email, Phone)
  5. Updating tax types
  6. Applications for cancellation, and
  7. The submission of account queries.

Should there be a need for further assistance, taxpayers are directed to submit queries via TAMIS or by emailing bramail@bra.gov.bb or calling 535-8239.
