Employees Encouraged to File Reverse Tax Credit Returns
All employees who earned less than $25,000 in 2018, are being encouraged to file their Reverse Tax Credit (RTC) returns for that year.
The Barbados Revenue Authority (BRA) has advised that those persons who have not yet filed their 2018 RTC return, should ensure they do so to receive the $1300 credit.
Employees eligible for the RTC are those who earned below $25,000 in 2018, which is no more than $2083 a month.
Persons are required to file the RTC online in the Tax Administration Management Information System (TAMIS), which can be accessed at https://tamis.bra.gov.bb.
The deadline for filing the 2018 Reverse Tax Credit return is December 31, 2020.
