Final Land Tax 10% Discount This Monday
(Bridgetown, July 9, 2024) Property owners who are yet to pay their 2024-2025 land tax bills have until the approaching deadline of July 15, 2024, to reap the benefits of paying online in the Barbados Revenue Authority's (the Authority) Land Tax Portal.
The Authority's communications officer, Erica Lazare, encouraged persons to take advantage of the 10% discount by using the portal to make online payments directly to the Authority.
"We are urging property owners to take advantage of this final opportunity to save on their Land Tax bills. They can enter the Land Tax portal via bra.gov.bb to register and pay in just a few steps."
"We want to assure taxpayers that this online process is a direct transaction to the Authority with a credit or debit card, and after payment, persons will receive confirmation via email and can also access and download their Government of Barbados official receipts", she stated.
Lazare reminds those who may require help registering and paying on the portal that support is readily available. They can call the Authority's Contact Centre at 429-ETAX or 429-3829 or visit a Customer Service location at Holetown Public Centre or Bridge Street Mall. Other guidance materials are available on the Authority's website, bra.gov.bb, and social media pages @barbadosrevenue on Instagram and Barbados Revenue Authority on Facebook.
