Land Tax Discount Deadlines Extended
The Barbados Revenue Authority (BRA) advises property owners that the deadlines to receive discounts on 2026–2027 Land Tax bills have been extended by two weeks for payments made at BRA Payment Centres, through drop boxes and at SurePay outlets.
Property owners now have until August 28, 2026 to receive a 10 per cent discount, and until September 27, 2026 to receive a 5 per cent discount.
The 10 per cent discount for online payments using the Land Tax Portal remains available until October 13, 2026. T
BRA Communications Officer Erica Lazare encouraged property owners to take advantage of the extended discount period and the range of payment options available.
“In addition to the extension, we have provided several avenues to assist property owners in meeting their Land Tax obligations on time. We encourage persons to visit bra.gov.bb to access the Land Tax Portal, which provides a direct and secure way to view and pay Land Tax bills online. The Portal also allows users to submit rebate requests and property valuation objections, and to access valuation notices and receipts online.”
Property owners who prefer to pay in person can visit any of the BRA’s five Payment Centres at Holetown Public Centre, The Pine, Bridge Street Mall, Southern Plaza in Oistins and Warrens Tower II, Monday to Friday.
Cheque payments can be placed in the drop boxes located at the five Payment Centres and at the BRA’s Weymouth Corporate Centre headquarters. Payments can also be made at any SurePay outlet or through SurePay online.
The Authority encourages property owners to take advantage of the extended discount deadlines and select the payment option that best suits their needs.
