Third-Party Providers Reminded to Upload 2025 Taxpayer Information by Month-End

The Barbados Revenue Authority (BRA) is reminding all third-party information providers to submit accurate taxpayer information for the 2025 income year via the Tax Administration Management Information System (TAMIS) no later than February 28, 2026.

Under the Income Tax Act CAP. 73 and its Regulations, any person or entity that paid or credited income during 2025, including dividends, interest, annuities, retirement benefits, retiring allowances, rents, or interest collected on behalf of clients, is required to file an information return by the deadline.

Additionally, every attorney-at-law or real estate agent who received or credited rents or interest on behalf of a client during the income year must also submit an information return, detailing the client’s information and the amounts received or credited on their behalf.

Third-party providers include employers; the National Insurance and Social Security Service; churches and charities; pension administrators; insurance companies; trade unions; attorneys-at-law; real estate agents; and any individual or business that engaged self-employed or contracted persons for goods or services.

Required information includes salaries and PAYE deductions; pension income; unemployment, sickness, injury and maternity benefits; dividends; charitable contributions; trade union dues; Withholding Tax; and Goods and Services Including Royalties payments.

Providers must ensure that correct TAMIS Taxpayer Identification Numbers (TINs) are used, as submitted data will be pre-filled in taxpayers’ Personal Income Tax and Reverse Tax Credit returns.

All returns must be filed online at tamis.bra.gov.bb, either using the BRA’s bulk filing Microsoft templates (available at bra.gov.bb) or via the web form within TAMIS.

Failure to file by February 28 will result in a penalty of $100 plus $10 for each day the return remains outstanding.

The BRA urges providers to file early to support a smooth and efficient tax filing season.
