The Barbados Revenue Authority is hosting a series of virtual Tax Days sessions this week to sensitise employers about the Return of Deduction for the recently announced Pandemic Contribution Levy – Individuals. Sessions will be conducted twice daily at 10 am and 1pm, from Wednesday to Friday. These sessions are specifically for employers and persons responsible for paying remuneration.
The Pandemic Contribution Levy - Individuals took effect from April 1, 2022 and its imposition ends on March 31, 2023. The associated Return of Deductions must be filed on the prescribed payment dates, during the period May 2022 to April 2023. The filing and payment deadline for this month is Monday, May 16, 2022.
